About the Workshop
Whilst you have been learning effective birthing techniques it’s just as important to get your partner up to speed so that they can support you every step of the way.
This practical workshop will simplify things as we get straight to what is required to help prepare you for the birth of your baby and give your birthing partner a chance to get involved and be there for you.
Birthing partners have an important role in supporting women in labour. This workshop will give your partner more confidence ready to go forward to the birth of your baby, in a calm and relaxed way.

Your partner will learn how to support you with;
- Relaxation triggers
- How to keep you on track with your breathing during surges
- Massage techniques to create endorphin’s – your body’s own natural painkillers
- Pressure points to create more comfort
- Birthing positions and movements
- And lots of practical tips!
Hypnobirthing techniques are proven to help release fear and enable you to give birth in the way you are designed to…calmly, naturally. During this Birth Preparation workshop you will practice some effective Hypnobirthing techniques to work together towards a relaxed and positive state of mind.
When to take this workshop
The bottom line is, any time before you go into labour is a good time to take this workshop, but enrolling after month 6 or 7 of your pregnancy is recommended. Even if it’s not your first pregnancy, you may want to consider attending as every labour and delivery is different, so even seasoned pros can benefit from a refresh. Keep in mind that the sooner you register, the more likely you are to ensure you have secured a place.
The workshop is suitable for all birth choices and is available to anyone who has either attended or is currently attending the weekly Pregnancy Yoga with hypnobirthing class.
